Meet our Staff

Mark Hermann

Mark is both General Operations Manager of Country AutoCare & Tire Center and Repair Service Advisor. Mark holds certifications in both ASE Service Advisor and Parts Advisor. Mark has over 25 years experience in the tire business as manager of large chain store tire shops and tire wholesalers. Mark is very personable, knowledgeable and customer service oriented and brings his expertise and knowledge of the automotive aftermarket repair to our customer’s aid. Mark will be patient and caring to explain the repair to your vehicle in a way you will understand. We believe you will be pleased and comforted in dealing with him. His philosophy to our customers is “treat them like family.” Mark has been employed with CAC since 2001.

Dan Hackenyos

Dan is our Senior trained and certified technician for all aspects of automotive and light truck repair and service. He carries the prestigious ASE Master Technician Certification label with additional High Grade of L1 Advanced Diagnostics. Dan brings us 30 plus years as an automotive technician. Dan’s capabilities are wide ranged. Dan prides himself in detailed and quality craftsmanship-like work. Dan has been employed with CAC since 2008.

John Yeakley

President

ASE certified in both Parts and Service Adviser. John started in this business as an auto mechanic in training in High School auto trade class, then worked as mechanic for many years at his brother-in law’s shop . John opened his business in July of 1979. Many of you may remember it was that October of 1979 when the tornado hit the Poquonock section of Windsor with devastating effect. Starting out in a Texaco gas station off I-91 just off exit 38 which is now a commuter parking lot. John may have been the youngest Texaco franchisee in the state at the age of 25. In 1985 John opened two additional locations, one at our current address and the other in East Granby by the airport in anticipation of the widening of I-91 which resulted in the elimination of his gas station due to eminent domain. He eventually closed the East Granby store and consolidated his business in our current location.

Donna Colby Yeakley

Office Manager/Business Co-Owner

Donna manages and operates the office portion of the business, performing office duties and accounting. Formerly employed by the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor. She met John at his then Texaco gas station on Poquonock Avenue in 1979 and later she became business partner, co-owner and wife of John Yeakley. John and Donna work well together and have grown the business over the years.

Steve Dixon

Auto technician specializing in tires, alignments and fluid maintenance services. His smile is contagious and customers love him. Steve has two children, a son and a daughter. Steve brings with him xxx years of mechanical experience. His skills include tire mounting and balancing which can be quite challenging with low profile and run flat tires, specialty wheels and TPS (tire pressure sensor), (you know that annoying little yellow light that comes on in your dashboard display especially in the cold weather). Steve is skilled and knowledgeable in servicing and reprograming these sensors. Steve is also a four-wheel alignment technician, most all mechanical work such as brakes, suspension work, tune-ups and more.

Automotive Technician

Eddy, as we refer to him brings years of experience in all aspects of the automotive repair and light truck servicing in a repair shop environment. including diagnosis and repair. Eddie’s pleasant demeanor and extended knowledge of the automotive repair business and attention to details is a great asset to our already experienced technician staff.
Eddy, is married with children.
